CMM Programmer - 1st Shift - (1164)

Position Summary  

The CMM Programmer will develop, validate and operate programs for coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).

Essential Functions

• Utilize CMM software to create and validate CMM programs for both final and in-process inspection and measurement of complex finished product.
• Operate CMM to prove out programs and as needed, to support production.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area and on machines. Comply with all company safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective equipment, as required.
• Actively participate in cross-training, cost savings and team activities to improve processes.
• Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team members and supervisors.

Experience and Education

• Minimum of 5 years of aerospace CMM Programming experience is required.

• PDMIS and/or Quindos experience a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree/certificate from vocation school or college program is a plus, but extensive experience may substitute for education.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation

$60000 - $100000 / year
