HR & Payroll Administrator | Established Organization | Up to $70,000 | Direct Hire
Location: Des Moines, IA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 100% onsite
Join a well-established organization in the Des Moines metro as an HR & Payroll Administrator. This is a broad HR role for someone with payroll experience who also enjoys supporting benefits, employee questions, recruiting, and general HR administration.
What You’ll Do
Process payroll for approximately 300 employees, primarily hourly
Manage weekly hourly and semi-monthly salaried payroll cycles
Process bonuses and other ad hoc payroll items
Support benefits administration and employee questions
Maintain employee files and assist with general HR administration
Assist with recruiting, community engagement, and HRIS-related activities
Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees
What We’re Looking For
Combined HR and payroll experience
Experience with multiple payroll cycles
Experience supporting hourly or high-volume employee populations
Strong HRIS/payroll systems knowledge
Strong communication and attention to detail
