Fleet Operations Associate Director

Amgen seeks a Fleet Operations Associate Director to lead the US and Puerto Rico fleet program, overseeing strategy, vendor management, compliance, and financial performance. The role manages a team and serves as senior business owner for third-party fleet services while partnering across the organization to optimize mobility operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year fleet strategy, policies, procedures, and governance framework
- Lead and coach the Fleet Operations team with clear priorities and performance expectations
- Manage strategic relationship with fleet management partner and define service-level agreements
- Own fleet program financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions
- Establish compliance framework for vehicle, driver, and vendor operations across enterprise
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 3 years fleet/logistics/transportation experience in regulated industries
- OR Master's degree and 5 years fleet/logistics/transportation experience in regulated industries
- OR Bachelor's degree and 7 years fleet/logistics/transportation experience in regulated industries
- OR Associate's degree and 12 years fleet/logistics/transportation experience in regulated industries
- Leadership and team development capability
- Strategic vendor management and contract negotiation experience
- Strong financial planning and cost optimization skills
