We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant or a Certified Nurse Midwife at our Rancho Mirage Health Center.

As a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant or a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will play a critical role in providing quality healthcare to a diverse patient population. This will include exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counselling for patients in accordance with Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest protocols.

This is a PART-TIME non-benefited position, with a 2 day/week schedule.

Also please note: This position follows an unusual schedule. The role requires working 2 days per week (10 hour shifts, with 2 hours each shift paid at overtime rate). Also, the schedule requires every-other-Saturday.

The workweek alternates as follows:

Week A: 2 work days (Monday, Wednesday).

Week B: 2 workdays (Monday, Saturday).

This rotating schedule offers a consistent weekly rhythm while providing extended time off every other week.

This role is considered Part-Time/Non-Benefited and is designed for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or a Certified Nurse Midwife licensed in the state of California.

• Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements.
• Partner with a Case Management team, which will communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care.
• Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affirming Hormone therapy).

• Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant , or a Certified Nurse Midwife.
