Technology Support Analyst

Position Summary The Technology Support Analyst provides Tier 1 (intermediate) technical support to faculty, staff and students for a variety of applications and services used across campus systems, networks and platforms. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a primary duty station in Chapel Hill, NC, and requires the employee to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned location. The analyst diagnoses and resolves intermediate customer technical problems via phone, web, email, chat and walk-up, collaborating with Service Desk colleagues. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related field and one year of IT experience related to the position’s role; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and one year of related IT experience; Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, engineering or a related technical field; Equivalent combination of education and experience; Journey level: one additional year of experience; Advanced level: two additional years of experience.
