Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector (or QA/QC Technician) ensures that energy storage products, components, and on-site installations adhere to strict quality standards and specifications. They perform inspections, manage non-conforming materials, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and maintain detailed documentation for battery energy storage systems (BESS). Travel Traveling position supporting projects in Arizona, Nevada, California, Texas, and more. Candidates can expect to be away from home 4 - 6 weeks at a time. Key Responsibilities Site and Production Inspection: Conduct inspections and test plans (ITP) for equipment installation, commissioning, and manufacturing milestones. Non-Conformance Management: Identify, flag, and document defective materials or workmanship, and track corrective actions (NCRs) to completion. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare, oversee, and maintain turnover documentation, quality audits, and weekly/monthly project quality reports. Supplier and Site Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. Root Cause Analysis: Perform RCA on quality issues to prevent recurrence. Typical Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred. Experience: Proven experience in QA/QC, ideally within energy storage, manufacturing, or construction environments. Technical Skills: Familiarity with quality control methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S) and proficiency with ERP and Quality Management databases.
