Nextaff is hiring welders for a manufacturing company! Positions are filling quickly, so apply ASAP. The welder will be responsible for various welding and fabrication tasks supporting the production and assembly of hollow metal doors and frames.

Job Duties

• Perform MIG welding on thin-gauge steel (12–18 gauge)
• Weld and fabricate hollow metal frames
• Follow customer specifications and job orders
• Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, saws, sanders, and punch equipment
• Inspect work for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Perform other production duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively
• Push and pull carts up to 75 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods
• Perform repetitive bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Work in a moderate-to-loud warehouse environment
• Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment

Minimum Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Welding experience required
• Must be able to pass a weld test
• Experience with hollow metal frames preferred
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read measurements and convert fractions/decimals
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organization and problem-solving skills
