Nurse Evening Supervisor

Position: Evening Supervisor (RN/LPN) Facility: Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Location: Lakeland, FL Shift: Full-Time | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Salary: $77,500 – $87,500 per year Join Our Team Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Supervisor (RN/LPN) to lead our nursing team during the 3PM–11PM shift. Key Responsibilities Ensure minimum staffing levels are maintained and post required nurse staffing data Oversee completion of Resident Assessment Instruments (RAI) for significant status changes Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility Support the development of a comprehensive dementia care program Monitor census accuracy, including admissions, discharges, LOAs, and bed holds Assist with safe and efficient resident transfers and discharges Coordinate insurance pre‑certifications and recertifications Interpret and enforce policies with staff, residents, and regulatory agencies Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on policy development and updates Support facility surveys and regulatory inspections Audit clinical documentation for compliance and accuracy Participate in “triple check” billing and ensure completion of charge sheets Complete all required administrative and clinical documentation Qualifications Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Florida Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of long‑term care regulations and age‑specific care practices Proven ability to supervise, make decisions, and lead a team effectively Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families Familiarity with nursing standards, medical practices, and applicable laws Benefits Comprehensive Medical & Dental Insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Recognition Programs Supportive, team‑oriented workplace Employee discounts and company perks Apply Today Take the next step in your nursing career with a facility that values compassion, leadership, and excellence in care.
