Trinity Table Director

Reports to : Trinity UMC Pastor and Leadership Council Position Summary : The Trinity Table Director connects the needs of our vulnerable neighbors with the resources of the larger church and community. They will oversee volunteer and community engagement, grant writing, data collecting and submitting reports as needed This role ensures operations run smoothly, volunteers are supported, and funds are secured. They attend Trinity UMC’s leadership meetings. Schedule and Salary: Salary: $10,000 a year Estimated 40 hours a month Key Responsibilitie s: Management: Oversee Trinity Table Assistant and Trinity Table Security. Grant writing and data gathering Communicate regularly with volunteers any updates or changes in procedures Serve as the main point of contact for the church and community partners. Create new connections with churches and volunteers Keep a database of volunteers and organizations who serve Communicate, via email, with upcoming volunteers about details of their scheduled Sunday Serve as the main point of contact for the church and community partners Demonstrate radical hospitality to both volunteers and guests. Welcome volunteers on Sundays when present and provide orientation with Trinity Table Assistant Leadership & Community Engagement: Lead volunteer recruitment: ie. speak to church Sunday school classes, Wednesday night dinners, club gatherings, community groups, and colleges. Lead fundraising efforts and grant writing. Oversees the coordination with the Trinity Community Ministries Supervisor on the participation of Trinity House Volunteers. Serve on and leads the Trinity Table Committee and reports to the church leadership council Organize weekday donation drop-off hours as needed Host and organize occasional workdays for deep cleaning, reorganization, or transitions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Table
