Job Description
The Pizza Chef at The Bricks Pizzeria plays a vital role in crafting high-quality pizzas in a woodfired oven, as part of a small, dynamic team. This position requires the ability to handle a high volume of orders efficiently during typical 6-hour shifts, ensuring every pizza meets the pizzeria's standards for taste and presentation. The role also offers occasional opportunities to contribute to menu development and recipe innovation.
Responsibilities
- Stretch pizza dough and assemble toppings according to established recipes
- Operate woodfired oven safely and efficiently to bake pizzas to perfection
- Manage ingredients inventory and ensure freshness
- Maintain high standards of quality control in every pizza
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
- Fulfill customer orders promptly, managing multiple orders simultaneously in a high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in culinary arts
