Job Summary

A growing distribution operation in Kent, WA is hiring a Forklift-Certified Warehouse Lead for a direct hire opportunity. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys hands-on work, operating a forklift, keeping product moving, and helping teammates follow safe, efficient processes.

The Forklift-Certified Warehouse Lead will support daily receiving, inventory movement, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and general warehouse workflow. Key Responsibilities

- Operate a forklift to safely unload, move, stage, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Coordinate daily receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, returns, and inventory movement to support efficient workflow.
- Pull, prepare, pack, label, sort, and stage parcel and freight shipments for accurate outbound processing.
- Verify incoming shipments, product information, quantities, and documentation to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while following established procedures.
- Coach and support warehouse team members on safety, quality, processes, and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay: $24 to $25 per hour.
- Annual salary range: $50,000 to $54,000 per year.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Overtime: Opportunity for additional hours based on business needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead daily warehouse workflow across receiving, inventory movement, shipping, returns, and order fulfillment.
- Operate forklifts and standard warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation, staging, labeling, and product verification.
- Coach team members on warehouse procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards.

- Current forklift certification and hands-on forklift operating experience required.
- 3 to 5 years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or related logistics experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Knowledge of general warehouse procedures, terminology, inventory handling, and shipping processes.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and punctuality.
- Comfortable providing direction, guidance, and support to coworkers in a team environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 to 60 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a warehouse lead, team lead, receiving lead, shipping lead, or distribution lead role.
- Experience processing returns, resolving inventory discrepancies, and coordinating parcel or freight shipments.
- Familiarity with warehouse documentation, inventory systems, scanning processes, or order fulfillment workflows.
