Work Environment\n

This position primarily operates in a remote setting with occasional onsite visits to our outpatient office. The standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but some flexibility will be required based on the needs of patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma history and inform tailored treatment approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in their healing process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help patients learn coping strategies, process trauma, and promote healing in a supportive atmosphere.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated care that addresses diverse aspects of patient needs.

• Manage crisis situations effectively by providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and resources available for assistance.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in professional development activities such as case consultations and training to remain updated with the latest research in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of New Jersey is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
