RRT-NICU Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Respiratory department in a community hospital seeking Respiratory Therapists (RTs) to provide care across various patient populations including Emergency Department, Critical Care ICU, and medical/surgical floors. Responsibilities include arterial blood gases, ventilator/NIV management, nebulizer treatments, and other therapies within the scope of a Respiratory Therapist.

Important Notes:

• RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT permitted to be worked out onsite.
• Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in cancellation.
• Candidates must have NC license in hand and Neonates & Pediatrics experience.
• Prior NICU, PICU, Peds, and Peds ED experience is highly preferred.
• No scrubs provided; outfit in black.
• Unit systems include EPIC.
• Orientation: 24 hours.
• Shift: Night 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15).
• On-call required as needed (3 shifts per 6-week period).
• Floating as needed.

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Experience in Pediatrics, Community Hospitals, Pediatric ED.
• Airway management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, bronchoscopes, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT.
• Active NC license in hand.
• Neonates & Pediatrics experience mandatory.
