Nurse Practitioner-Critical Care: Intensivist

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Banner University Medicine seeks a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. The chosen ACNP will directly manage cardiac intensive care unit patients and contribute to a team dedicated to growth and career development. Responsibilities Manage patients in the cardiac intensive care unit. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe medication and controlled substances. Provide education and consultation. Participate in research. Minimum Requirements Current ACNP certification. Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certification. Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances. Experience or recent graduation with prior cardiology or critical care experience encouraged. Work Schedule Full time – 3‑12 hour shifts per week. Night, swing, and weekend shifts required.
