Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders through direct patient care
• Complete patient documentation including initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge reports
• Collaborate with healthcare providers including nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service staff to deliver patient-centered treatment
• Develop and deliver in-service presentations and educational opportunities for clinical staff
• Contact insurance companies regarding patient benefits and prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions
• Support patients and families in navigating the care environment and provide reminder communications as needed

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of Wisconsin
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Experience assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Strong documentation skills across the full continuum of patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
• Familiarity with current research and best practices in dysphagia management and speech-language pathology
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
