The Position The Floor Maintenance Equipment Technician services and repairs floor cleaning equipment. This position will ensure that broken equipment is restored to a safe operating condition while tracking accurate parts and labor costs. Key Responsibilities:

• General problem solving.
• Re-build combustible and electric motors.
• Diagnose electrical wiring problems.
• Replace worn or broken parts.
• Disassemble and re-assemble motors.
• Read wiring diagrams.
• Use a multi-meter.
• Clean the equipment thoroughly before returning it to the store.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed.

The Ideal Candidate: High School diploma or equivalent. Machine and electrical maintenance experience preferred. Must have the ability to complete the physical task related to maintenance work: lifting 10-75 lbs., regularly sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and use hands to operate tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
