Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Responsibilities Engage in evidence-based practice related to the delivery of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, general behavior treatment, and parent/family training. Perform functional and other behavior assessments and develop treatment plans based on ABA principles for skill acquisition and behavior deceleration. Work with consumers, families, and caregivers to explain and implement assessment conclusions and treatment recommendations. Train paraprofessional behavior technician staff and caregivers in ABA methods and procedures. Perform additional related duties as required. Qualifications Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Licensed as a Behavioral Analyst through the State of Michigan (LBA). Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment. Reliable transportation necessary for job duties. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual candidates highly desired. Lived experiences with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders valued. Individuals in recovery or with experience in Armed Services valued. Physical Activities Must be in good physical condition, able to lift objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, and pull as required to work with children and adults. Environmental Conditions Primarily works in the offices of HealthWest. Travel in and out of Muskegon County may be required.
