Meadowview Regional Medical Center – Maysville, KY Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Job Type: Full Time Days On Call: every third day through the week (Mon-Thurs) and every third weekend. About the Role A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab assess and manage patient care during catheterization procedures, ensuring safe and effective treatment for each patient. Responsibilities Assist with cath procedures, medication administration, and monitor patients throughout the cath lab cycle. Perform all aspects of patient care in a safety‑focused environment, minimizing the likelihood of medical errors. Formulate and revise individualized plans of care based on patient response and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, providers, patients, and families in alignment with the chain of command. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support. Assess learning needs of patients and families, and provide education appropriate to age, culture, and condition. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients, protecting patient rights. Qualifications Current Kentucky or compact state RN license. Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s preferred). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
