Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker with the ability to operate and manage manufacturing machines efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude and a keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality production outcomes.
Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to safety and quality standards.
• Perform machine setup, calibration, and minor troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document production data and report any issues to supervisors.
• Assist with loading/unloading raw materials and finished goods.
• Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
The role requires working in a non-climate-controlled environment. Shift hours vary: 2nd Shift from 2pm to 10pm, 3rd Shift from 8pm to 8am, and 1st Shift from 7am to 7pm. The schedule alternates weekly, with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Griffin, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
