Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 15:00 - 03:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months of recent experience in the field of specialty License: Registered Nurse license in the state or compact license Certifications: AHA ACLS AHA BLS AHA PALS NIH OR RED CROSS TNCC SECURE onsite Must-Have: Willingness to float to other units and facilities Ability to work every other weekend Availability for required holidays Description: The Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. It is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department treats a high volume of patients annually. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. An associated degree in nursing is required for this position.
