Financial Service Center Representative Join Nationwide Financial as a Financial Service Center Representative, supporting critical financial operations and delivering exceptional customer service. This role includes processing business requests for public payroll accounts, handling rollovers and transfers, and ensuring accurate, efficient transactions while maintaining compliance with regulations and company standards. Location and Working Hours

• Hybrid environment: two days per week in the office
• Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST
• Must reside within 35 miles of Three Nationwide Plaza, Columbus, OH 43215

Job Description Summary The Representative will provide timely, efficient service for assigned products and services, ensuring extraordinary care to internal and external customers through workflow management and meeting service level agreements. Key Responsibilities Process business requests in accordance with government regulations, contract provisions, and internal procedures and controls. Provide outstanding quality customer service by demonstrating understanding of customer needs and emphasizing timely responses. Maintain current knowledge of contract and product provisions, Nationwide products, processing systems, and related federal and state regulations. Integrate lean methodology into daily interactions through problem‑solving meetings and team huddles. Consult and interpret contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business, including those requiring insurance or securities licenses, and route inquiries to registered representatives as appropriate. Reporting Relationships Reports to Operations Division Manager or Service Team Unit Manager. Typical Skills and Experiences Education: High‑school studies. Undergraduate studies desirable. Technical coursework (LOMA, CLU, ChFC) desirable. License/Certification/Designation: FINRA Series 6 license preferred and may be required based on product or distribution system. Experience: One to three years of product‑related customer service experience preferred. Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: General knowledge of office practices, customer service, information systems, and insurance/financial services industry practices (annuity, mutual funds). Strong verbal and written communication, basic analytical and problem‑resolution skills, proactive customer‑needs anticipation, decision‑making, team‑building, and collaboration.
