Perform data entry including attendance, Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data. Provide reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the counselor's office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise the collection of student attendance records; record and monitor student attendance and tardies daily; maintain attendance coding on the computerized student accounting system. Ensure compliance with TEA, state and federal laws, and district policies related to student attendance. Communicate district policy on absences and tardiness to students and parents; follow up on absences and coordinate attendance issues with campus administrators. Prepare and print reports, including attendance reports, class or personnel rosters, six-week reports, end-of-year reports, or accounting reports. Serve as receptionist for counceling office. Assist students, parents, and teachers including distributing testing, scholarship, and other college materials. Prepare documents and lists for honor roll, awards assemblies, and other student recognition programs. Assist with processing changes and adjustments to student schedules. Maintains confidentiality Perform other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE: 2 years data entry experience OTHER INFORMATION: Hillsboro ISD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
