About the Role
Lead consumer acquisition for an early-stage higher education technology company. You will set performance marketing strategy while remaining hands-on in advertising platforms, helping scale qualified leads and support revenue growth.
What You'll Do
Own consumer acquisition across paid search, paid social, and emerging advertising channels, with regular hands-on campaign management.
Set channel priorities based on business needs and scale spend while meeting lead quality and cost-per-acquisition targets.
Build multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling as the channel mix expands.
Lead creative testing with an external agency, including AI-generated user-generated content and new ad formats.
Manage a junior marketer and partner with sales, SEO, and lifecycle marketing teams.
Develop forecasts and performance reporting, and drive conversion rate optimization across the lead-to-consultation funnel.
Bring performance insights to go-to-market and revenue growth planning.
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of performance marketing experience, including paid search and paid social, with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience preferred.
Experience managing annual paid media budgets of $10 million or more and scaling acquisition while maintaining CPA targets.
Background in high-ticket lead generation, ideally for services priced at $5,000 or more.
Recent, hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, or other advertising platforms, plus SEO and answer engine optimization.
Familiarity with SQL, Python, Google Analytics, marketing automation, CRM systems, attribution tools, and AI creative tools.
First-principles strategic thinking, AI fluency, and experience in a startup, growth-stage company, or agency serving startups.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $280,000 to $300,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.
