Locums | Cardiothoracic Surgery NP | Silverdale, WA (will accept license in process) Why This Role

• Defined 6-9 month assignment starting ASAP
• Mix of OR, rounding, ICU, and minimal clinic (5%)
• Established team: 2 physicians, 4 APPs
• WA license-in-process accepted (obtained during credentialing)
Assignment Details
• Start: as soon as credentialed
• Duration: 6-9 months
• Schedule: Monday-Friday plus call (1-2 weekdays and weekends)
• Call: Night call 5p-7a; 24-hour weekend call
• Setting: Hospital 95%, clinic 5%
• Volume: 5-10 hospital patients/day; 0-3 admissions; 2-7 ICU patients; 1-2 surgeries/day
• Patient population: 100% adult
• Support: 2 physicians, 4 APPs, RN navigators, MAs
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: ~3+ months
• Local providers highly preferred (no flights)
Clinical Details
• Cardiothoracic surgery APP coverage — OR, rounding, and ICU management
• Required procedures: open CV/thoracic surgery, on-pump CABG, valvular repair and replacement
• Preferred: cardiac and aorto-thoracic aneurysm repair, lung resection (including VATS), chest wall/pleural procedures, LVAD, vent management, acute volume/BP management, central line insertion
• OR experience required — must be able to assist and round/cover clinic as needed
Requirements
• Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required (OR + acute care/ICU management)
• Active WA license (will consider providers obtaining license during credentialing)
• Clean malpractice and background history preferred
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
• Local providers highly preferred — no flights
Compensation
• Rate caps apply per facility
• Malpractice provided
• Travel and lodging reimbursed
