The Talent Coordinator supports talent acquisition and attraction initiatives by providing administrative and operational support throughout the hiring process. This role is responsible for creating a professional, white-glove experience for candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders while ensuring recruiting and onboarding activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities

• Provide a positive and seamless experience for candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and internal teams throughout the recruitment process.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure an efficient interview experience.
• Manage pre-employment activities, including:
  • Initiating and monitoring background check processes.
  • Coordinating drug screening requirements.
  • Processing new hires within the applicant tracking system (Workday).
  • Initiating and tracking I-9 verification activities.
  • Partnering with HR Operations to confirm completion of new hire documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between talent acquisition and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain candidate, applicant, and hiring manager communications.
• Organize and maintain recruiting documentation, resources, and team records.
• Support recruiting and talent acquisition projects as assigned.
• Perform additional duties consistent with the scope and level of the position.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) or more years of human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience; or a bachelor's degree in lieu of experience.
• Experience supporting recruiting activities such as interview scheduling, candidate coordination, background checks, onboarding, or HR administration.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and candidate information with professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide a high-touch candidate and hiring manager experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior Talent Acquisition Coordinator experience.
• Experience using Workday or a similar applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Knowledge of labor markets, talent pipelining, and candidate sourcing strategies.
• Ability to analyze information, identify routine challenges, and collaborate on solutions.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences and foster effective team collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and urgency.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
