Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing and managing core organizational business operations related to human capital management. The individual in this role exercises independent judgment and discretion to manage the full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding pipeline; evaluate candidate qualifications and possesses independent authority to advance candidates, negotiate initial offers, and develop targeted community outreach partnerships. Design, evaluate, and implement recruitment strategies and practices, social media campaigns and communications, and other initiatives that directly support the mission, vision, and guiding principles of NHS Northstar. New employee starting bonus to be paid after 90 days of employment: Full‑time positions: $250.00 Base starting pay: $30.00 – $33.00/hour Location: Chisholm, MN Available time types : Full‑Time Responsibilities Supports the Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles of NHS Northstar Supports and cooperates with specific procedures and programs for safety, confidentiality of data, quality assurance, current rules, agency policies and able to demonstrate mature judgment and able to make programmatic decisions Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the areas of: Recruitment Onboarding Community outreach Social media and job advertising Content management and communications Partners and provides support to all levels within the company Partners with departmental leaders in planning and execution of programs, initiatives, projects, and special events Accurately maintains information system records and reporting Complies with federal and state employment regulations Executes job duties in a professional and respectful manner Contributes to the development of a culture of diversity and belonging Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience/Education/Training Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, or combination of experience and education One year experience in similar role preferred Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively and concurrently Proactive approach to work and the ability to anticipate needs Strong organization and prioritization skills to meet deadlines Highly professional and positive attitude and demeanor Detail‑oriented and dedicated to accuracy Able to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) Regulatory Requirements/Licensure Valid Driver’s License Department of Human Services Background Check Meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to NHS Northstar’s insurance carrier NHS Northstar is proud to offer the ultimate employee benefit: Company Ownership.
