Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Rehabilitation team. This role requires an individual dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients across various rehabilitation conditions, including strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care in a rehabilitation setting, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records and report on patient status and recovery progress.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery plans and health management.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 14-28
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 RN; 7:1 LPN
• Required Equipment: Cerner, Omnicell

Qualifications:

• Active RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a rehabilitation or medical-surgical setting (new graduates will not be considered)
• Experience with Cerner is required

Patient Population:

• Adults aged 18 and older with conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, amputations, multi-trauma, hip fractures, spinal cord injuries, debility, and cardiac issues.

Work Environment:

• Team-oriented atmosphere, emphasizing collaboration within a transdisciplinary team model.
• Rotating weekends: every other weekend required.

First Day Instructions:

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Time to Report: 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM
• Please ask for the Nurse Manager upon arrival.
