Shift Manager

What we are looking for:
- An energetic person with a passion for craft cocktails and food and beverage knowledge. Our ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of local and Italian wine and spirits.
- A love of wine, with specific knowledge of Italian and French regions a plus.
- Ability to work with a team, as well as adaptability and flexibility. Etto is a small place and we all pitch in--no task is too small and providing mutual support is a must.
- One year of bar experience as well as serving experience.
- Interest in taking on some management responsibilities as you get up to speed--we want you to grow your own knowledge and build up our team too.
- Proficiency with the Square POS a bonus but not required.
- Ability to obtain an ABRA Manager and food handlers' license.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and break down of the bar area, including preparation for the day's drinks.
- Ability to handle cash drawer and closing reports.
- Address front of house staff and customer needs, including complaints and other issues that may arise.
- Update and train front of house staff on daily food and beverage menu changes.
- Physically able to lift and move wine and spirit boxes.
- Working able to work all FOH positions and provide additional support as needed.
