Here’s an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elementary-aged students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting near Hartford, CT. This full-time contract role offers the chance to provide assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams, serving young learners at the heart of their educational journey. There are two openings available, both focused on elementary caseloads and requiring onsite work for 35 hours each week. The role may involve working across two school sites, so adaptability and strong organizational skills are valued.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Connecticut (CT) SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered with supervisory support available
• Direct school-based SLP experience required
• Willingness and ability to obtain district-approved fingerprints and a clear background check
• ASHA certification for CCCs preferred
• SLPAs not considered for this position

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy and diagnostic services to an elementary caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student communication outcomes
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and participate in team meetings
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed
• Attend Zoom interviews as part of the hiring process
