Job Description

HWI is seeking a motivated, creative, and results-driven Marketing Specialist I to join our growing team. This is an entry-level professional marketing position designed for individuals who have developed foundational marketing skills through education, internships, apprenticeships, freelance work, entrepreneurial ventures, or personal business projects.

The ideal candidate is passionate about all aspects of marketing and eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines, including digital marketing, content creation, social media, branding, public relations, event marketing, lead generation, and sales support. This individual will work closely with leadership and sales teams to help increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support business growth initiatives.

Because marketing and sales work together to drive company success, candidates must also possess a solid understanding of sales processes and customer engagement. Prior sales experience is strongly preferred to ensure marketing efforts align with business development goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Support brand awareness initiatives that align with company objectives.
• Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
• Research industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.

• Manage and update website content.
• Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives.
• Support email marketing campaigns and automation efforts.
• Monitor website traffic and digital campaign performance metrics.
• Help improve online visibility and lead generation efforts.

• Create engaging content for social media platforms.
• Develop graphics, videos, blogs, and promotional materials.
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar.
• Monitor engagement and respond appropriately to audience interactions.
• Assist with online reputation management and community engagement.

• Collaborate closely with sales teams to support lead generation activities.
• Develop marketing materials that support the sales process.
• Assist with customer outreach campaigns and promotional initiatives.
• Track marketing-generated leads and campaign effectiveness.
• Help identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.

• Assist with planning and coordinating company events, trade shows, networking opportunities, and community outreach programs.
• Support event marketing efforts before, during, and after events.
• Represent the company professionally at marketing and community functions when needed.

• Track campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain marketing databases and reporting dashboards.
• Analyze key marketing metrics and present findings to leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven decision making.
