Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as part of a float pool assignment
• Float to any Med Surg/Telemetry unit or ER Telemetry Holding area (Med Surg/Tele patients only)
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
• Ability and willingness to work in a float pool environment across multiple units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Experience with ER Telemetry Holding or similar fast-paced environments
• Strong adaptability and clinical assessment skills across varied patient populations
