Job Description
Special Procedures Radiology Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Special Procedures Radiology Technologist with expertise in hybrid operating room environments and extensive endovascular procedures.

Shift Information

Four 10-hour shifts, typically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Shifts will be scheduled based on unit needs, with occasional late shifts.

On-Call Requirements

Flexible on-call schedule, approximately 8 days per month; varies with rotation.
Holiday call may be required.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Hybrid OR experience is mandatory.
Extensive endovascular experience, including:
- FEVAR/PMEG
- EVAR
- TEVAR
- AAA/TAA
- Angiograms
- Declots
- Lysis
- Stenting
- Embolization
- TAVRs
A minimum of 1 year of experience with Zeego and Pheno systems is required.
Proficiency with Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad is essential.

Technical Skills

Must thrive under pressure and work independently in high-acuity environments.
Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary.
Knowledge of PACS and Hybrid Siemens advanced vascular features, including troubleshooting for Pheno and Zeego.
Familiarity with Siemens Portable C-Arm functions, including digital subtraction, road mapping, and measurements.
Knowledge of vascular supplies such as balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths.

Certifications Required

ARRT certification is mandatory.
BLS certification is required.
A radiation badge will be provided by the agency.

Additional Information

Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs.
Travelers should be aware of emergency response team assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
