Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter, remaining alert to unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or sensitive business operations, verifying credentials and following post orders for access control and visitor processing.
Support a professional presence within a financial services location by assisting with de-escalation, maintaining detailed activity logs, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or local authorities when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
