Job Opportunity – Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 23, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, day shift 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Highlights:

• Work in a high-acuity Surgical Intensive Care Unit with diverse patient population
• Day shift schedule with consistent 12-hour shifts
• Holiday rotation required (every other holiday minimum)
• Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments
• Extension opportunities available up to 18 months
• Pre-start modules required with billable orientation time

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in SICU or critical care specialty
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from the past 12 months
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Background check and fingerprinting required (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
• Clean license with no disciplinary actions
