Job Summary :


We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a modern outpatient oncology center in Lincoln, NE. In this role, you will perform Nuclear Medicine, PET, and CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and following established clinical protocols. Cross-training into CT is available.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for nuclear medicine and radiologic procedures
• Perform Nuclear Medicine, PET, and CT imaging according to protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Apply radiation safety and shielding techniques
• Process imaging studies and document radiopharmaceutical administration
• Coordinate patient records and procedure documentation in the EMR
• Prepare contrast media as needed
• Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly
• Maintain exam rooms and imaging supplies
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned

Education, Licensure, and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (or relevant Bachelor's degree)
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
• Current CPR certification
• Willingness to cross-train into CT
• Preferred:
• 2+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience (New graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Nebraska Medical Radiographer License
• PET/CT imaging experience
