Location : Lincoln, NE Job Type : Full-Time / Part-Time (On-site) ScheduleMonday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM No weekends No on-call requirements Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a modern outpatient oncology center in Lincoln, NE. In this role, you will perform Nuclear Medicine, PET, and CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and following established clinical protocols. Cross-training into CT is available. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for nuclear medicine and radiologic procedures
- Perform Nuclear Medicine, PET, and CT imaging according to protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Apply radiation safety and shielding techniques
- Process imaging studies and document radiopharmaceutical administration
- Coordinate patient records and procedure documentation in the EMR
- Prepare contrast media as needed
- Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Maintain exam rooms and imaging supplies
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (or relevant Bachelor's degree)
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
- Current CPR certification
- Willingness to cross-train into CT
- Preferred:
- 2+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience (New graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Nebraska Medical Radiographer License
- PET/CT imaging experience
