The Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes to move materials within a facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective coordination with team members to support production and logistics activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane equipment safely to lift, move, and position heavy loads
• Inspect crane machinery before use to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during crane operations
• Communicate effectively with ground personnel to coordinate load movements
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved and equipment usage
• Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as required
• Adhere to company policies and work collaboratively in a team environment
