Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Managing a caseload of up to 150 workers' compensation claims, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Examiner II will handle claims from inception to conclusion, ensuring compliance with state laws and company guidelines, while working remotely. Key responsibilities Initiates and investigates claims, determining compensability and administering benefits Manages medical treatment and billing, authorizing as appropriate and maintaining accurate case documentation Communicates effectively with claimants, providers, and clients to resolve claims efficiently Required qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Three or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred Ability to independently manage complex claims effectively
