We help clients protect natural resources, meet project requirements, and keep construction moving safely and efficiently. About the Role As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work closely with our project managers and field teams to coordinate the people, materials, equipment, and information needed to deliver successful projects. You’ll gain experience across project planning, field coordination, logistics, and client communication while contributing to work with visible results. This full-time, hybrid position is based in Fredericksburg, VA, with travel to project sites as needed. What You’ll Do Help coordinate daily project activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Arrange and track material orders, equipment needs, and site deliveries. Coordinate inspections and follow up on results and corrective actions. Communicate with field crews, vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain progress. Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and tracking systems. Identify scheduling conflicts, material delays, and resource needs before they disrupt field operations. Support project managers in keeping work on schedule and within scope. Help uphold company safety practices and applicable environmental requirements. What You Bring Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through. Clear written and verbal communication skills. The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt as project needs change. Foundational experience in project coordination, scheduling, logistics, or a related field. Comfort using spreadsheets, office software, and project tracking tools. A proactive approach to solving problems and a willingness to learn. A commitment to safety, accountability, and teamwork. The ability to attend in-person meetings and visit project sites as needed. Experience coordinating materials, deliveries, inspections, or construction activities is a plus.
