Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 8+ years of experience in API Testing, Database Testing, and Batch/ETL Testing. The ideal candidate will validate backend systems, APIs, data integrity, and batch processes to ensure high-quality enterprise applications.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases for REST/SOAP APIs.
• Perform API integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate backend data using advanced SQL queries.
• Test stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects.
• Perform source-to-target data validation for ETL processes.
• Validate scheduled batch jobs, ETL workflows, and data processing pipelines.
• Monitor batch execution, logs, exception handling, and recovery.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and manage defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of hands-on QA experience. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
Required Skills:
8+ years of QA Engineering experience. Strong API Testing (REST/SOAP). Advanced SQL and Database Testing. Batch/ETL Testing and data validation. Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or Rest Assured. SQL Server or Oracle. Control-M, Autosys, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory. Agile/Scrum and JIRA/Azure DevOps.
