About the Role The Wellness Nurse (WN) supervises the delivery of care and services to residents, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations and accepted standards of care. The WN maintains ongoing communication with associates, residents, families, professional consultants, and third‑party providers to support resident welfare. Areas of Responsibility Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non‑licensed associates and other designated personnel, ensuring residents’ needs are met and monitoring resident conditions. Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to identify and correct problem areas or improve care and services. Provide resident care according to health care provider orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and company policy. Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition or medication, and perform first aid as required. Perform other job duties as assigned – see full job description. Required Qualifications Minimum age 18. Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency. CPR/AED certified. At least one year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting. Positive criminal background screening. Adherence to the drug‑free workplace policy. Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems is a plus.
