Operations Manager

We are a premier, growing distribution organization seeking a strategic, results-driven  Operations Manager to oversee our high-volume distribution network. You will be the key leader in overseeing the daily warehouse operations, developing and mentoring our team, driving continuous improvement, and scaling our warehouse operations for future growth.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Streamlining workflows by eliminating inefficiencies and non-value tasks, and significantly enhancing productivity across the organization.
• Overseeing processes and teams by establishing clear expectations, maintaining accountability, and driving individuals to achieve operational excellence consistently.
• Innovate and standardize processes for diagnosing, repairing, and preparing equipment, establishing new quality and turnaround time benchmarks.
• Cultivating a transparent and open communication environment, consistently recognizing, and rewarding team contributions, and fostering a positive company culture that energizes employee commitment and performance.
• Reinforcing the organization's core values while creating opportunities for growth and development, nurturing strong, cohesive teams that align with the company's mission.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring successful implementation for consistent execution.
• Accountable for guiding the team through transitions with practical change management techniques, fostering a culture of adaptability, innovation, and high performance.
• Oversee talent management, from recruitment to development, to build a skilled, motivated team aligned with operational goals.
• Designing and implementing comprehensive training programs that are engaging, accessible, and customized to accommodate diverse learning styles, empowering team members to thrive and grow professionally.

Qualified Individual must have the following:

• Proven experience in SOP development. Six Sigma, or similar methodology expertise is a plus.
• Proven leadership skills, capable of effectively handling recruitment, training, and performance appraisals, with a strong focus on setting and managing expectations for staff.
• Ability to foster a team environment, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively across all levels of management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word & Excel.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a strong customer service focus in an onsite setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.
• Demonstrated agility and resilience in a fast-paced work environment, with a clear focus on accountability and results.
