SMT Operator

Overview: We are hiring an SMT Operator to support high-volume PCB assembly within a controlled manufacturing environment. This role sits directly on the production floor and supports daily build schedules for electronic assemblies.
Shift Types:
Day shift 7am-3:30pm
Swing 3:15pm- 11:45pm + 10% shift differential
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of SMT operating experience in a production environment
- Hands-on experience loading feeders and monitoring machines
- Experience working in electronics manufacturing or EMS environments
- Ability to read BOMs and assembly drawings
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, ESD, ISO 9001, or SPC
What you will do
- Set up and operate SMT pick-and-place machines
- Run automatic and semi-automatic stencil printers
- Operate reflow ovens during soldering processes
- Load materials and monitor production performance
- Perform manual component placement when required
- Conduct detailed visual inspection of PCBs
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Equipment exposure
- Pick-and-place machines such as Hitachi, ASM, or GSM
- Stencil printers including MPM or DEK
- Reflow ovens used for mass soldering
- Training provided on site
