CT Technologist - Float Team

Role Overview The CT Technologist supports a floating imaging team across multiple facilities, delivering high-quality, safe CT imaging and a compassionate patient experience. Responsibilities Perform CT exams per physician orders, verify patient identity, explain procedures empathetically, prepare and position patients, establish IV access, administer contrast media safely, operate CT scanners, optimize imaging techniques, evaluate image quality, document accurately, and ensure compliance with standards. Maintain smooth operations by supporting cross-coverage, managing equipment, and adhering to regulatory protocols. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 2 years of hospital radiologic and CT experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification. Key Qualities Strong communication skills, attention to safety and detail, proficiency in radiation safety principles (ALARA), and ability to work independently within a team.
