Content Editor (Graphic Designer & Video Editor) Location: Remote Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week) Compensation: $9.00/hour USD (approximately $1,440/month) Company Overview Our client is a U.S.-based fabrication company building mission-critical aerospace hardware with an AI-native approach to engineering, procurement, and construction. The company films content at its shop and is building out its social media and brand presence. This role owns the design and video production behind that content. Position Overview The Graphic Designer & Video Editor will split work roughly 50/50 between graphic design and video editing, producing social media content, explainer videos, and infographics. The role turns footage filmed at the shop into a clear, consistent flow that reflects the company's culture and brand, while building shorter social pieces from existing B-roll between longer productions. The ideal candidate is creative, flexible, and ready to learn the brand and subject matter on the job, demonstrated quality of work matters more than years of experience. Key Responsibilities Plan, storyboard, and edit video content for social media and digital platforms Edit footage filmed at the shop into a clear, consistent flow that reflects the company's culture and brand Create explainer videos that communicate technical aerospace and manufacturing concepts clearly Design infographics for social media content and printed media Use existing B-roll and interview footage to produce shorter social posts while longer videos are in production Produce short-form content of 30 seconds or less and long-form content of approximately 3–4 minutes Animate short clips and splashes of roughly 5–10 seconds for video explainers Deliver approximately one video per week, with carefully produced longer pieces taking two to three weeks Help develop the company's video editing and content creation brand Work with company leadership for guidance on technical aerospace and manufacturing subject matter Turn around small revision requests within roughly a day Qualifications Required Qualifications Hands-on video editing experience Experience creating infographics or similar visual and image-based content Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work (no minimum years of experience required) Portfolio showing well-edited videos and strong infographic work Willingness to learn on the job, stay flexible, and work creatively within a developing brand Ability to take direction on technical subject matter without prior domain knowledge Strong communication skills for working directly with the team Preferred Qualifications Experience creating short, polished animations of approximately 5–10 seconds that explain an idea or provide visual illustration Familiarity with simple explainer-style motion graphics, such as moving bubbles or expanding networks Experience with video and design software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva, or comparable alternatives Experience creating content for social media, explainers, or similar formats Existing software licenses (the company can purchase software if needed) Location: Remote Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week) Compensation: $9.00/hour USD (approximately $1,440/month) #J-18808-Ljbffr
