MillwrightHCS is seeking experienced Millwrights for several large industrial projects in the Knoxville, TN area. Qualified candidates will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing machinery, fixtures, and other equipment according to specifications. Millwrights will transport and locate machines and equipment to the desired location according to floor plans, or as directed using fork lifts, hoists, winches, cranes and other equipment. Please apply here or directly on our website today!Responsibilities:Rig, move, align, and install machinery.Install pipe and pipe fittings including cutting and threading of pipe.Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.Locates damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machines and cuts, threads, and installs new piping.Lays out fixtures and other plant production devices including structural supports from prints, sketches, and verbal instructions.Initiates purchase order requests for parts, and maintains needed inventory.Ability to clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machineryUses various precision and non-precision measuring, leveling, and aligning devices.Understands and complies with safety regulations.Is proficient with MIG, TIG, and stick welding in all positions.Operates shearing, forming, turning, and milling machinery.Requirements:Valid driver's licensePre-Employment ScreeningRelevant Experience 2+ yearsAbility to work from layout plans, blueprints, drawings or other specifications to determine work proceduresAbility and knowledge to dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand toolsAbility to perform work accurately and thoroughlyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to use thinking and reasoning to solve problemsAbility to communicate effectively with others
