Paralegal - Real Estate

Carlton Fields is seeking a Paralegal for its Tampa office. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate transactional and financing paralegal experience in a law firm setting. Qualified candidates must be proactive, flexible, have excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and experience with electronic document management systems; Filesite experience is a plus. The ability to multi‑task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential. Responsibilities Experience with title insurance examinations, preparation of title commitments and policies, and working with title companies to resolve title issues. Experience with due diligence reviews of documents. Experience handling commercial closings and preparing related documents, including UCC financing statements, closing instruction letters, and closing documents and binders. Drafting and preparing deeds, mortgages, financing statements and other real estate transactional documents. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic recordings and official records searches. Experience with formation of corporations, limited liability companies and other entities. Strong organization skills and detail‑oriented. Ability to communicate with clients and work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Actual salaries will vary depending upon relevant experience and skill set. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees.
