VP of Accounting

Title: VP of Accounting Salary: $160,000-$180,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out As VP of Accounting, you'll report directly to the CFO with real influence on strategic and financial decisions Full ownership of the accounting function, positioning as a key leader during active portfolio expansion Opportunity to build structure, processes, and shape the accounting team from the ground up High visibility role for the VP of Accounting with exposure to investor reporting, deal activity, and senior leadership discussions Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the Boston office alongside a collaborative executive team Key Responsibilities Lead, develop, and scale the accounting team as the VP of Accounting Oversee financial reporting, including investor and external requirements Manage residential real estate and HUD accounting and compliance Partner closely with the CFO on cash flow, forecasting, and scaling the finance function Qualifications 10+ years of accounting experience within real estate (residential / HUD strongly preferred) Proven experience leading and developing teams at the VP of Accounting or senior accounting level Strong background in investor and external financial reporting Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or Master's preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Institute of Management Accountants, Inc.
