Fiberglass Technician-3rd shift-Will train

Fiberglass Operations

Purpose of Position: Performs fiberglass operations duties in the production of fiberglass bodies for Altec Osceola Body Plant. Fiberglass Operations duties will be bid positions.

Major Responsibilities:

• Additional PPE requirement for entire work day
• Heavy work range 25-50 lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally
• Chemical proximity Styrene, Organic Peroxide, Methyl methacrylate
• Ergonomic challenges Constant reaching, Frequent bending at waist
• High level of operator maintenance
• High level of detail required (not able to rework parts)

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

• High School degree or GED
• Jobs Eligible Application operators (Gelcoat, Chop & Interior Paint) Rollers Glue (Bulkhead, Flatting) Cutting (G1, G2) Door closing
• Responsibility for Safety: Safety in everything we do
• Responsibility to Prevent Errors: Ensures appropriate checks have been performed as needed for high quality
