Punch Press OperatorStaffmark is hiring an experienced Punch Press Operator to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have experience operating stamping presses, punch presses, or other production machinery and take pride in producing quality parts while working safely, this temp-to-hire opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.Requirements:High school diploma or GED required.Previous experience operating punch presses, stamping presses, or similar manufacturing equipment is preferred.Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.Basic computer and data entry skills.Experience using production tracking or ERP systems is a plus.Ability to perform quality inspections and accurately document production information.Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Job Duties:Operate automatic, transfer, and robotic stamping press equipment.Set up production jobs using production schedules and setup instructions.Follow packaging and production specifications.Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet manufacturing standards.Enter production, downtime, scrap, and inventory information into the production system.Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical or tooling concerns.Communicate production issues with supervisors and the quality team.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.Perform additional production duties as assigned.Physical Capabilities:Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.Frequent bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots and safety glasses.Benefits:Competitive weekly pay.Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life and disability insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-focused manufacturing environment with opportunities for training and advancement.If you're looking for a stable manufacturing opportunity where your press operation experience can make an immediate impact, Staffmark wants to hear from you.
