Position Gig Ultrasound Technologist – Per Diem/PRN – Mercy Hospital St. Louis Location Saint Louis, Missouri Mercy Hospital St Louis Surrounding communities (Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Perry, Southeast) Base Rates $45.00/Hour Incentives W-2 Employee, Flexible Scheduling Overview The Gig Ultrasound Technologist operates imaging equipment and software, primarily ultrasound, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. It also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Operate imaging equipment and software for ultrasound examinations. Ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging standards. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Float between designated Mercy facilities. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours. Experience: 1 year of relevant experience. Certifications/Registrations: 2 applicable registries with ARDMS or ARRT or CCI within the work area; Basic Life Support (BLS). License: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
